The Hour of the Star

Macabéa is a young woman from northeastern Brazil living on the margins of a world that barely notices her existence. Through modest dreams, loneliness, and heartbreaking innocence, her story reveals both the beauty and cruelty of the human condition.

A moving and powerful theatrical experience inspired by one of Clarice Lispector’s most celebrated works.
